iPhone 4 antenna problems? Proporta has the solution

The hotly anticipated iPhone 4 went on sale on 24 June, with thousands of people queuing outside Apple stores across the country for the launch.

However Apple enthusiasts’ joy was short lived as within hours reports started to surface of issues with signal strength dropping when the phone was held in users’ left hands.

In a statement, Apple said: “Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone. If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases.”

Well as it turns out Proporta has just the thing. Keen to put the “use a case theory” to the test we did just that and discovered that our Antimicrobial Silicone Case with SteriTouch does indeed stop the reception issue 🙂

Available in 3 colours its Antimicrobial coating guards against germs and bacteria and is in stock and available now from www.proporta.com.
