Last weekend Lynnette Prigmore, Head of Product here at Proporta, ran the Brighton Marathon. The tough training schedule, which involved running home from work on several occassions paid dividends as she posted a very respectable time of 4 Hours 57 Minutes and 40 Seconds, which incidently beat Max Denyers time of last year by 15 minutes. Check out the pictures and video here:
Today the world is celebrating 50 years since Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space, so from our little corner of the world Proporta would like to share with you our Ted Baker iPhone 4 case and pouch that feature a green astronaut motif.
Back in December 2010, Proporta teamed up with the London College of Fashion, offering the opportunity to first year FdA Cordwainers Accessory Design students to design a series of mobile gadget accessories aimed with the “Global Commuter” in mind…
After months of preparation, which included an initial brief to the LCF students, a hands-on field trip to Proporta HQ, a pre-assessment at the LCF offices and then a final judging by Proporta co-Director, Guy Monson and Head of Product, Lynnette Prigmore, a winner and two runners up have now been decided. The winner will receive a prize of £750 with the two runners up receiving £375 each. Keep your eyes peeled for further announcements after Easter.
To demonstrate how the new Adaptive Case, and Stand for the Apple iPhone 4 from Proporta can be personalised, we asked the pupils of our local Primary School in Whitehawk, Brighton to design their own insert for the new case. There were many excellent designs and it was hard just to pick three.
The winners, Emma and Cameron from Class 11, Killer Whales and Libby from Class 10, Seamonsters got to see their designs come to life as Proporta reproduced them on inserts for the Adaptive iPhone 4 case and presented them to the children.
